A study recently published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal suggests that cannabis can be used to relieve people's nerve pain.

The study consisted of 21 adults, who inhaled through a pipe three times a day for five days. They were cycled through hits with three levels of THC as well as hits with no THC at all. Patients smoking the highest level of THC content - 9.4% - reported an overall reduction in pain - on a scale of 1 to 11 - from 6.1 to 5.4.

While researchers say this is a modest reduction, they also say it is "significant." The study was conducted by The McGill Health Centre in Montreal, Canada.
