The upcoming game Titan Fall, that is exclusive to most Microsoft formats, has opened up beta access to eager fans. Now the most obvious question is what is a Titan? Titanfall.com tells us they are descendants of present-day fledgling military exoskeletons. The Titans can be controlled either manually with the pilot inside of the robotic machine, or with the pilot outside and they work as a tag team.

Once access is gained to the beta, and after five gigs of information in downloaded in the Xbox One hard drive, the user is taken through a series of training exercises. You learn how to use your weapons, the general movement of your character and how to use your Titan. After completing the training session, the user is given the option to join the multiplayer.

This Call of Duty-style game delivers an intense experience, even in Beta mode. The Titans are quite powerful and the combat is definitely challenging. We loved the fact that because this game is modeled after the Call of Duty franchise, if you're a COD player or even a Gears of War player, you can jump right into the fighting action feeling completely comfortable.

The amount of gameplay that the beta offers is actually surprising. You can play three different types of multiplayer matches. You get your typical team versus team match, a capture the flag style mode where you need to capture three specific target areas, and the Last Titan Standing. You can score xp with different kinds of kills, whether it's a pilot, a Titan, or a minion. You also earn burn cards to use during gameplay. These cards give you special abilities for a short time, shortened times for Titan falls, and more.

The main thing the beta tells us is that the full game is going to be incredible. The game is released March 11, 2014 on Xbox One, Xbox360, and PC. This gives you plenty of time to load up and level up!
