Stephen Marley, Bob's fourth son and five-time Grammy Award winner, and iconic emcee Black Thought of The Roots teamed up to drop "Thorn Or A Rose" from Marley's upcoming record Revelation Part 2: The Fruit of Life in honor of what would be Bob Marley's 69th birthday today. All we can say is that this collaboration certainly rivals the Distant Relatives project that Damian Marley and Nas dropped a few years ago. Stephen lays down his Jamaican-tinged crooning with a crisp verse from Black Thought leaving us wanting more.

On the record: "The concept of the [new] album means merging my music with hip-hop and anything else I feel like," Marley  told Rolling Stone. "Every aspect from the songwriting to the production, even the way I sing certain parts of a song, has to return to that concept."

Take a listen or two as you smoke one in honor of Bob!
