The Chicago Tribune is reporting that actor, director, and writer Harold Ramis has passed away at the age of 69. Ramis was at the helm of a ton of films that just s happen to be classics in the eyes of these stoners -- Groundhog Day, Ghostbusters, Animal House, Caddyshack, Airheads, Stripes, Back to School, Orange County, Meatballs, and countless others.

As we light up in his honor, we refer back to the wise words of Ramis as "Ben's dad" in Knocked Up: "No pills, no powder. If it grows in the ground; it's probably okay."
