Equifunk, celebrating its 6th year this August 16-18, takes all the best parts of the summer festival experience, wraps it up into one funky, fun-filled weekend in the Pennsylvania Poconos, and offers a friendly, laidback vibe that’s better experienced firsthand than puff, puff, passed along.

Equifunk takes the good life to the next level with an all-inclusive experience. Tickets entitle attendees to lodging in private cabins or lakeside campgrounds, three meals a day, and unlimited amounts of draft beer (it’s actually a job responsibility of Equifunk staff to drive around on a golf cart and refill your beer!).

Topnotch amenities and unbeatable service aside, the 2013 music lineup is packed solid with great bands including The New Mastersounds (two nights), Soulive and the Shady Horns with special guest Maceo Parker, JJ Grey & Mofro, Anders Osborne, Pork Tornado (Jon Fishman from Phish’s side project), and Keller Williams with his full band More Than A Little.

As requested by fans, this year there will be an Equifunk first: a full day of music on Sunday featuring The Revivalists, The London Souls, Mike Dillon, and the not-to-be-missed stellar funk super group The M&Ms, featuring John Medeski, Maceo Parker, Stanton Moore, Rob Mercurio, Papa Mali, and Marco Benevento.

Equifunk 2013 tickets are limited to 1,500 and are available at equifunk.com. For transportation options, check out the Equifunk 2013 Buss Pass ($70 round-trip from New York City to the campgrounds starting Friday morning or evening and returning Sunday or Monday).
