Were you smoking some sweet sativa backstage, guys? Rebelution’s sold-out show for their “Count Me In Summer Tour” got shut down Wednesday night by the FDNY. A couple of minutes into their set, the Gramercy Theatre’s alarm system went off, and within minutes, the fire department showed up and cancelled the show. What an ordeal!

Rebelution issued an upbeat statement, saying, “Malfunctioning alarm systems cannot hold us down. We are coming back to NYC on Monday, June 16 to play a full set at the Gramercy Theatre. If you cannot make it, full refunds are available at your point of purchase. Thanks for your understanding!”

HIGH TIMES hung out with the band this week -- look for our upcoming interview. Count Me In has been #1 on iTunes since it dropped on June 10.
