I got to say, to me there is nothing like a good bong load and a good movie.  I love to curl up with my 2 foot Glass on glass and have some friends over for a good diner and movie night.  I really like home style dishes.  This recipe can be served for each person or in a large bowl and everyone can share.  When I make this I love to dip my bread in the sauce!  Heaven.







Fusilli Puttanesca

2 Tbsp.

olive oil

6 cloves

garlic, thinly sliced lengthwise

1 (28 oz.) can

chopped tomatoes

1 cup

Pitted Kalamata olives

1/2 cup

red wine

3 Tbsp.

tomato paste

3 Tbsp.

chopped capers

1 1/2 tsp.

anchovy paste

1 1/2 tsp.

chopped oregano

1 tsp.

dried red pepper flakes

10 oz.

whole wheat fusilli pasta, cooked

1 Tbsp.

Medicated olive oil per person

Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large sauce pan, add garlic and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly until caramelized. Add your wine and cook until the liquid has evaporated. Then pour in the tomatoes, olives, and tomato paste and stir until evenly combined. Add capers, anchovy paste and oregano and season to taste with pepper flakes. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes. Pull of the heat and add the medicated Olive oil, then toss with the fusilli pasta and serve immediately. Serves 4.

Garnish with a good Parmesan Cheese.
